HW 2: Politics in blogging? Of Course!

After reading Dan Burnstein’s 12 key ideas in “From Cave Painting to Wonkette” some certain ideas sparked up to my attention and made me want to read more.  Politics have always been something that interests me.  I’ve never completely understood everything about them, but I think that’s why I find them so interesting.  Key idea number 11 was all about politics and how blogs in the future can possibly have an effect on politics and political elections, just like the media does right now.  Personally I completely agree with this and think that by just blogging your ideas and feelings about politics, you could definitely change people’s minds and persuade them into what you believe in. I think that blogs are just like the media at times, and if you read a blog that was continuously about politics and different views it could not only change your view on how you feel about a certain side of politics, but it could also help you understand politics better and what they are all about. I would definitely find blogs about politics interesting because I am now 18 and can vote in the upcoming election, I feel like this would be a good way to help me better understand the election and what the candidates have to offer. I completely agree with Dan Burnstein’s #11 key idea about politics in blogs.

Nice to see you really digesting and articulating the ideas in the chapter.
