Richard Larson, Markem-Imaje Corporation
2 p.m. Thursday, November 5; Madison Street Lounge, Student Center
With 33 subsidiaries worldwide serving more than 30,000 customers, Markem-Imaje understands how globalization affects corporations. Dr. Larson’s interactive presentation will focus on aspects of the transition from a privately to a publically held company, looking specifically at how that transition impacted the company’s research and engineering divisions. Markem-Imaje reaches out to regional academic institutions for collaboration and resources, and Dr. Larson will talk about the skills that are necessary for those wanting to enter the industrial research and engineering fields.
How is KSC tied to events on the local, national, and global scale? Check out this wall-sized poster
that will be on display in the Student Center Atrium throughout the Symposium to find out.
