Homework 5 is too easy to use a whole sheet of paper creating a handout. Here’s what you do.

1. Open two screens in your browser window. (Start Firefox or Internet Explorer and then type Ctrl-T or click the New Tab tab.)
2. In the first window, go to the dashboard for your site (http://keeneweb.org/yourblog/wp-admin, substituting your blog for yourblog in the address.
3. Click the Add a link to your blogroll link.
4. Go to the other window, and go to T Blog. Right-click on the link to your podmates’ blog in Tracy’s sidebar, and then choose Copy Link Location to copy the address of your classmate’s blog.
5. Go back to your first window and type in the name of your podmate’s blog (please copy the spelling, punctuation, etc. exactly) in the Name box, and then click in the Address box and use Ctrl-V to copy the link location. In the categories list, keep Blogroll checked, and use the Add button to add a category called My Pod (or something similar). Click the Add Link button to save. The screen will return to a blank Add Link form.
6. Repeat the process, copying the location and entering the name for each of your podmates’ blogs, and making sure that the both categories for each are selected. If you forget something or need to go back later go to the Manage Blogroll tab, which is under the Blogroll tab.

If not all your podmates’ blogs are available on T Blog at the time of your assignment, just do as many as you can. You may need to check back later in the week to get the rest of the links if I’m waiting for some students to create new blogs.
