Blogging is a good way to share gossip. Gossip can start from the media. You never know that what you are hearing or reading is the truth or not, therefore the media has a huge impact on things. Most people use blogging to talk about things that they might have heard or read somewhere else. People like reading other peoples thoughts about stuff they hear but it is different for political topics. “Political blogging is like Ralph Nader. Nobody pays attention.” That was a quote from the book Blog! I know that I probably wouldn’t read any political blogs until it was time for election. Just to see other peoples opinions about it. You get to hear the thoughts of people on the two different sides of the election and share your own thoughts. So political blogging has become more popular after the 2004 election, because they say that blogging had a hug impact on it.
Blogs have become a creative and important way of communicating. It is a way to discuss with others, events that are happening in the world as well as gossip. Some people prefer using blogs as a way of communicating rather then email and other internet sites. Blogs can sometimes be the more efficient way to communicate. Like when someone is traveling. Whether they stay on the east coast or they go to another continent. I plan on doing some traveling in the future. I will hopefully start in my junior year of college. Since I learned about blogging and how it works, I think that if I do study abroad, like I intend to do, then blogging might be my main way of communicating. Not only can I use it for communicating with my friends and family, but I can use it as a way to share my experiences from my travels with many other people. I plan on going to Australia to study abroad and blogs will allow me to tell everyone about the cool things that I have seen and done. Because blogs are free, I believe that this will become a huge thing, bigger then it is now.
