With all of the stellar programs that have been taking place in the building, I wanted to send out some helpful information about how to get reimbuirsed for any program supplies that you may purchase.
1. Please submit any receipts for program supplies to me and I will fill out the necessary paperwork to get your reimbursed.
2. It would be easier if you had a seperate receipt for your LLC purchases as it makes processing them much easier.
3. Please do not highlight your reciept as it causes the information to fade.
4. While offering a gift card as a prize at an event is great, please see me before you purchase one as there are certain regulations that we need to adhere to when using them.
Keep up the great work and as always, see me if you have any questions.

Now that we are officially at the mid-semester, quite a few LLCs have been hosting programs and events in the building. Many communities have been posting flyers throughout the hall and I wanted to post some information about advertising for your events.
1. Please do not use scotch tape to hang your flyers. I have blue tape available in the office that you can use, so feel free to stop by and borrow some.
2. Please be sure to post advertisements on bulletin boards or doors. Unfortunately we can’t post things on the walls as it is considered a fire hazard.
3. Finally, just be sure to have your advertisements approved through me before you post them in the hall.
Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.

With our first full month of the semester coming to an end, I will be sending out a monthly update to all of the LLCs and their respective advisors. The update will contain information about where your LLC is at with meeting the programming requirements and what you still need to do in order to remain an LLC in Pondisde 3. Know that if these requirements are not met, it is likely that your LLC will be asked to leave at the end of the fall semester.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hello Everyone!
I hope that your semester is off to a good start and that you are enjoying your time in Pondside 3. I just wanted to send out a friendly reminder to all the LLCs that you need to submit a program proposal to me, at least 48 hours before your program is scheduled to take place. This will allow us to reserve space in the building, obtain any necessary funding and provide any assistance that you may need. While it is still early in the semester, only a handful of LLC programs have taken place, so be sure to send me your proposals when you get a chance. The proposals can be found on the programming page of the blog and please send them electronically.
Have a great weekend!

Hello Everyone!
This is just a reminder that if you are interested in submitting a proposal for the first night back program, they are due to me by Monday, July 14, 2008.
The Learning Community that submits the best program proposal will receive $200 in programming money and will be allowed to move in on August 21 to prepare for their big event.
All proposals will need to be submitted to me at ngordon@keene.edu
So far only a couple of Learning Communities have submitted proposals, so be sure to get yours in before the deadline.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Welcome to The Learning Communities of Pondside 3 Blog! This will be the place to find out the latest news, events and information relating to the Learning Communities. The Blog will be updated on a regular basis, so be sure to check it out frequently to find out what is going on in the building.
On another note, I wanted to let you know about an exciting opportunity taking place on Friday, August 22. As you will notice, Pondside 3 students will be returning to campus on the 22 for an orientation to the LLC Program. That evening we have scheduled a program that is currently TBD. This is where you and your community come in. The Department of Residential Life is offering $200 in programming money to the Learning Community that proposes the best program for our first night back. All that you need to do is put together a proposal and submit it to Nate Gordon, the Residence Director for East Halls, by Monday, July 14, 2008. I will then notify the winner and their community will have the rest of the summer to prepare for their big event. This LLC will then be able to move in on August 21st to fully plan out their program. This is a great way to get your LLC noticed and have one of your programming requirements taken care of.
I look forward to working with you all this fall and don’t hesitate to get in touch with me should you have any questions. My contact information is ngordon@keene.edu or you can call me in my office at 603-358-8995.
