This is an article from the NY Times and it provides information on internet fraud and hackers that release computer viruses though chat rooms and other pedophiles.

This scholarly article provides information on how to filter the information that goes to children on the internet/ through chat rooms. It also provides specific family protector information.

This article form the NY Times gives information on how mothers have found pedophiles online.

This article provides the information on how addictive computers really are and has information on social communicating such as chat rooms.

I could not find any books on chat rooms and their security so far and I didn’t really expect to either, but I’ll keep looking.
