b.      Express-Express forms are available on your RAs door, outside my office and in the laundry house porch.  Please note any damages you are taking responsibility for.  All express forms must be turned into the slot on the laundry house porch.  Once you turn in your express form, you are no longer permitted to be in the residence halls.  Owl’s Nest residents with keys-your express form is an envelope.  Please turn in your key in the envelope provided.

c.       Failure to properly check out will result in a $50 fine.

6.       Report any maintenance concerns NOW!  If something is broken in your room, please let your RA know asap!

Winchester Lot Flooding

Filed under: Uncategorized — Jen Spade @ 9:18 am

To All Winchester Lot Permit Holders,

Due to the recent heavy rain, some water is collecting in low-lying areas of the Winchester Lot (sections A, B, C and D). This e-mail is to inform you that Campus Safety is continuously monitoring the water levels for potential flooding.  In the event that these parts of the lot need to be closed, we will notify you via e-mail and let you know where space is available to park. With this in mind, please be sure to pay special attention to your e-mail periodically throughout the next several days in case cars need to be moved.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and attention in this matter.

Spring Break Closing information

Filed under: Uncategorized — Jen Spade @ 7:54 am

Hello ONBU!

The time has come for some time off!  The halls will be closing on Saturday March 13th at 12pm.  You will not be able to access the buildings or your room after 12pm so please plan accordingly.   The staff has placed an orange checklist on your doors, please make sure you leave it on the outside of your door and you review the information and complete all the steps before you leave.  Once you leave, please sign it so the staff knows that you have left for break.  The staff will be conducting health and safety inspections after the halls close.

Here is a couple helpful tips from Jen to make your break easier:

-CLEAN your room!!  You will be documented if your room is not clean.  There are vacuums and brooms available in Butler if you need them.

-Take out all trash and recyclables

-Check your room for prohibited items.  A few commons ones include: candles, incense, octopus lamps and plugs, extension cords, things hanging from pipes of the ceiling, alcohol boxes or containers if you are under 21 and large inflatable or stuffed furniture.  Don’t be that guy or girl!  Get rid of the things you shouldn’t have before you get documented for them!

I hope you all enjoy your time away and get rested up for the remainder of the semester.  The halls will re-open on Sunday March 21st at 12pm.

Take Care and have a safe and fun spring break!

-Jen
