RESIGNATION ACCEPTED
Request of Principal J. M. Rhodes Granted by Normal School Trustees
At a meeting of the normal school trustees held in Concord Aug, 8, the resignation of Principal J. M. Rhodes, which was telegraphed to the board from the West last week, was formally accepted.
A committee consisting of Trustees Morrison, Corning, and Towne was appointed to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation. As has already been stated, Mr. Rhodes plans to remain here until his successor arrives, if possible, and to take care of all the work and correspondence preliminary to the opening of the school in the meantime.
