INPHYS 201 PHENOMENAL SCIENCE
4 credits
A hands-on, minds-on inquiry based exploration of the basic physical principles that underlie our observations and experiences in the everyday world. Topics include motion, forces, energy, fluids, sound, heat, light, electricity, magnetism and the atom. Ideal for pre-service teachers. Prerequisite: IQL 101 or by permission of the instructor. Fall, Spring.
RATIONALE:
Rather than continue the duplication between this course and Physics 100 (Inquiry into Physics) we have decided to drop Phys 100 (an Integrative Studies Course) and apply for Integrative Studies designation for Phys 201 since it is a required course for the General Science Program and Phys 100 is not required for any specific program
