Yes, we’ve used this image before, but we just thought we’d remind you that most of the members of the Class of 2013, who started their college experience today, were born in 1991.

Welcome, first year students!

Some alums have already shared their advice. What do the rest of you have to offer?

1994

The actual student center may be somewhat less tasty, but the windows are straighter.

No fool like an April Fool

We admit it, we thought about trying to play some huge trick where we tried to fool you into thinking that pictures that aren’t of Keene really are. And that might have been hilarious, but really, where’s the challenge?

Instead, this time, we’re posting an array of pics. Can you guess which ones are from KNS/KTC/KSC, and which are from other colleges?

Leave your guesses in the comments.

1998-99

Despite a small group of dedicated followers, horizontal rappelling never did take off as an intramural sport at KSC.

1992-93

Elvis had in no way left the building.

Charles Hildebrandt

We were sad to hear this week that Dr. Charles Hildebrandt, Sociology professor emeritus and founder of what is now the Cohen Center for Holocaust Studies, died Tuesday morning. He taught at Keene from the late 1960s until his retirement in 1998.

There will be a memorial at the college Nov. 3 at 4 p.m., plus there’s an online memorial here, at the Cohen Center’s website. Please visit it and add your own memories of this remarkable man.

The Sentinel also did a story, and there’s one in the Equinox as well.

1999-2000

Giant skirts will triumph over giant hair every time.

1992-93

Delta delta delta delta delta delta delta delta delta;

can we help ya help ya help ya help ya help ya help ya help ya help ya help ya?

1990-91

Keene’s answer to:

  • Wham!?
  • Jesus and Mary Chain?
  • Depeche Mode?
  • Some other band that continues to elude us?

You be the judge. C’mon, WKNH alums. This is all you.
