Even better, she appears to be sitting on the curb on Appian Way?
94 percent chance, perhaps?
I only mention it because I was noticing the other day that despite how much more beautiful Appian Way has become there’s a lot less hanging out on it. Students hang out on the quad or not at all.
So, part of it maybe that they tore down the tennis courts and the quads the place to be. But I also blame the lack of young punks lining the street on the elimination of the curb from Appian Way. A good 20% of my college career was spent on the curbs of Appian way, across from the old Dining Commons, drinking coffee and eating pilfered foodstuff from the DC.
Now it’s two person benches, which is symptomatic of the destruction of communal culture — or maybe of a different culture. I know I’m rampling now, but when you sit on the curb you don’t own it, but there’s an ownership implicit in the occupying of a bench…
OK, I think I’m off the rails here… back to work I suppose…
You do realize that, if there were curbs lining Appian Way right now, April 4, they would have snow on them and people would likely not be sitting there.
Just sayin’.
Sitting on the curb, watching the cars driving down Appian Way, and reading the Equin-ads in the the back of the Equinox. They were the best part of the paper!

There was nothing better than sitting on the curb - the best people watching (OK, checking people out - whatever) to be had!
I had forgotten about the Equin-ads! Wasn’t there was a time that a student written cartoon strip was in the Equinox as well?
