Zoned Out! KSC students at the concert by Grace Slick and Jefferson Starship in November 1970, just two months before she gave birth to her daughter China. An estimated 4500 people attended the consert in Spaulding Gym which now has a fire code limit of about 2000. Tickets were about $10 but many people forced their way into the building. Once they were inside the place is reported to have filled with MJ smoke which may attest to the look on their faces. Jefferson Starship was previously Jefferson Airplane and was one of the first big psychodelic bands out of San Francisco.
