Hello Everyone,

I hope you’re all enjoying your summer and are excited about starting College in the fall. I know everyone at the College has been working hard at preparing for your arrival.

Holloway Hall is a great place to live and learn and I’m excited you’re living here. This is my third year working at KSC and I have been working in Holloway the whole time. It’s near and dear to me and I think it’s the best place to live (shhh!) on-campus.

Take a look around the blog and join “THE Holloway Hall 2010-2011″ Facebook page.

I look forward to meeting you all in late August! If you have any questions about Holloway please feel free to email me at rrabideau@keene.edu.

Hello,

The Holloway Hall Council and RAs will be having a BBQ on the Holloway quad on April 30. The event will start at 4:30. There will be hot dogs, burgers, veggie burgers, salads, drinks, and desserts. Additionally, there will be a variety of activities including: tug of war, tie-dying, flower pot painting and seed planting, water balloon toss, yard sports, Pie the RD/RA, and a raffle with excellent prizes.

Please join all your Holloway friends for this exciting event!

Hi Holloway,

1.      Please be on the lookout (RA newsletters, bulletin boards, fliers, emails) for closing information.
2.      Speakers are not be placed by windows with the volume turned up – noise should be for you or your roommates to hear only. I know it’s difficult on the nice days, but it’s a College policy.
3.      Window screens need to stay in windows.
4.      No one is allowed to sit on the front desk.
5.      Playing sports in the Holloway quad is fine, but please use soft material type balls. Windows are expensive!

Additionally, the third floor study lounge will be open again. Starting tomorrow the lounge will be open from 10am until 10pm. It will be closed Saturday. Sunday it will be open from 8-10pm. However, if damage occurs the lounge will be shut for the remainder of the year.

Thanks and I wish you all luck finishing the remainder of the year!

Hi Holloway,

I’m sure you’re all enjoying the beautiful spring weather.

Please remember to be use caution when playing sports outside of the building. You should only be using soft-material type balls. Windows are pricey and we don’t want them broken. Also, I know there are many great climbing trees around our building, however, you cannot climb them.

Enjoy the weather and the last few weeks of classes. You’re almost sophomores!
