So who exactly is this guy running those assembly meetings? Well good question! I am Geoff Ness, a senior computer science major at Keene State. I have been very active in student government since freshmen year when I was a class representative. My sophomore year I was acting student body vice president. It was a great feat for me considering it was only my second year of college. During that time, I had many goals and projects that were important to me. First off, I was the developer of the student government website which can be found at http://www.kscstudentgov.com . My other big project which I was very proud of was implementing online elections for student gov. It was a big task that took a lot of people to get involved. We used it for the first time during out Freshmen elections in fall 2007 and it was a great success. We had the best voter turnout ever!

Me

Enough business. Personally I am a downright computer geek. In 2004 I started my own web design and network maintenance company. Its been a lot of fun and it has taught me some great lessons. In spring 2008 I took a semester to study abroad in Edinburgh Scotland. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had in my life. To live in a foreign country for five months studying, eating and yes a few pints here and there… is something you cant beat. I have kept a blog of my study abroad experience full of pictures and stories. You can check it out by visiting http:///www.geoffness.com/abroad. The fact that senior year is already here excites me so much. I know this year is going to be a great and filled with fun and excitement!
