CELT Timeline:

Winter 2006/2007: Faculty and staff meeting to discuss needs and interest. Original idea for “the center” was drafted.

Spring 2007: First strategic plan submitted.

Summer 2007: AAC&U strategic planning retreat.

January 2007: Interim Director hired.

Goals for Spring 2008, Summer 2008, and Fall 2008:
1. Submit refined strategic plan. Refine mission, vision, and framework through campus dialogue and review of other centers / programs.
2. Schedule teaching and learning experiences for summer 2008 and academic year 08/09.
3. Work with proposed center faculty and staff and college administration to develop plans for physical construction/renovation of center.
