Residence Director-

Reporting directly to the Assistant Director for Residential Life and Housing Services, each Residence Director (RD) is expected to operate from a foundation that incorporates student development theory, institutional and organizational priorities, and their best professional sense of what their staff and students need. The position is a twelve-month, live-in professional position with primary responsibility for direct supervision and leadership in an assigned community on campus. Residence Directors are responsible for administering the Community Development Model in a residential area of 150 to 575 students, supervising 5 to 14 staff members, and working to promote the mission of the department and the college.

Community Assistant/RA on & 2C- Alicia Phillips 

The Community Assistant in each area, is not only an RA in the building, but also supports the RA staff in a variety of ways. This experienced RA assists the Residence Director in a variety of functions including working in the staff office and the main Residential Life Office. They also assist and support the RAs in their programming efforts, co-advise Hall Council, with the Residence Director, and supervises the Night Attendant program.

Resident Assistants 

As the College’s representative in the residence halls, the Resident Assistant assumes many roles. The RA’s responsibilities largely center on establishing and maintaining a residence hall atmosphere that is conducive to the residents’ overall education and development.

Office Assistant-

Nicole Avery

Office Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: filing, copying, answering phones, completing on-campus deliveries, designing and implementing bulletin boards and other art projects as well as typing. They have strong administrative, computer and time management skills as well as the ability to be warm and friendly to students and others who come to the office.
