This summer course provides an introduction to freshwater wetlands ecology, including wetland values and ecological functions, basic wetland types, common wetland plants of southwest New Hampshire, and prominent invasive wetland species. Coursework takes place in both classroom and field settings, and is directly linked to volunteer opportunities for identifying unique wetland habitat for conservation.
