1. How many students attend Keene State College? Our total enrollment is 5,282 (including full-time, part-time and graduate students)
2. What is the average GPA? Average GPA is a 3.0/4.0 scale. We expect students to be enrolled in a college preparatory curriculum in high school
3. What is the average SAT score?1020 (Critical Reading and Math combined); all scores must be submitted to Keene State from College Board. Keene State College will be looking at the Writing section for 2009-2010 applicants (average score: 450-500).
4. When is the best time to apply to Keene State? The best time to apply to Keene State College is as soon as your first marking period grades are posted during your senior year. Don’t forget that KSC only accepts the common application.
5. Does Keene State have Early Action/ Early Decision? NO, we are Rolling Decision.
6. Are interviews required? NO, we currently do not offer interviews at Keene State
7. When is the best time to visit KSC? We encourage students to visit us at anytime. However, most students visit during the summer between Junior and Senior year or the beginning of Senior year.
8. Can I bring a car to campus my 1st year? NO; first year students are not allowed to have cars on campus.
9. Can I observe a class during my campus visit? yes, class visits are only offered while school is in session. Please contact the Admissions office at least 2 weeks in advance to set up a class visit.
