In my “Did You Know” series I continue to post fun facts about life on campus, in town etc.

Did you know that we have a movie theatre here on campus? The Putnam Lecture Hall is home to our on-campus movie theatre. Here you will find a weekly selection of films.  Check out the schedule here. I think this a wonderful way to spend a rainy afternoon. Just remember to bring the popcorn.

Did you know:

*2,675 students live in campus residence halls

*Keene State College is located in the Monadnock Region which is considered the “Heart of New England”

*in the past 5 years we, the college, have invested over $100 million on the renovation of buildings and addition of new facilities to the campus

*starting this fall we will be offering majors in Political Science and Sustainable Product Design and Innovation

*from June 2008-December 2009, the college will be celebrating its centennial… YAHOO
