This is good as far as it goes, but can you say a bit more? This is short of the 150-400 word guideline, and I think there’s really more to say in applying Scoble’s long list of principles to the blog Deadspin. Also, it’s good you’re using spell-check, but you’re letting it correct things incorrectly–bog instead of blog, shirt instead of short.

I’m a little confused–it seems like your analysis of the quote is talking about something other than what quote is. Drezner and Farrell here say that blog is hard to control…but then you’re talking to about the fact that they _are_ controlled, and in fact you’re arguing (I think) that these controls and filters should be used not just in China and a few other countries as they are now, but in others as well. Can you clarify?

Glad you caught up on this assignment. I agree that OhmyNews is quite newspaper-like in its style and quality–impressive when so much material is written by citizen reporters.
